Installing an RPM

RPM, (abbreviation for Red Hat Package Manager), is a protocol for installing, updating, and upgrading software packages in Red Hat-based distributions of Linux. An RPM, then, is a package distributed in that format.

An RPM is the Linux Operating System equivalent of a VistA KIDS Build.
