Kernel Overview

The VA Kernel, is a set of MUMPS routines with associated Files, that provide the innermost capabilities for a VistA system. The VA Kernel provides a MUMPS portability layer, which emulates much of an operating system kernel's essential components with a higher level abstraction for the VistA programmer.
