Overview Of Documentation about CPRS - the Clinical Provider Interface Module
The GUI version of CPRS is generally referenced here. A dialog version exists still, however.
A Number of Logical / Data SubStructures are Integral to CPRS as follows:
- Problem List
- Notes - template-entered or free text/typed notes require electronic signature
- Includes a title/subject line, author/provider/signer, other std fields required in VA

- Medications - current Medications
- Medication Orders - VistA includes inpatient and outpatient possibilities
- Allergies - Displayed and Editable
- Warnings - includes a collection including DNR status orders.
- Notifications - separate logically from Warnings
